...make it this one, with catchy, uplifting music and a message that will matter for eternity. Each song conveys a different aspect of God's amazing grace in a way kids (adults, too!) can relate to.
I fell in love with this musical as it was performed in a Baptist church; immediately got a group together in my 7th-day Adventist church to share the joy with our and several other congregations. We did it two different years in the nineties, and I'm thrilled to find it again to share it with another generation! I will say, though, that I liked the music better in its original recording; they think now that kids have to have their music tracks all jazzed up, but that's not so! And it takes away from the inspiration of the words, I believe. I will be looking for another sound track of the original, as mine (cassette version back then) is all warped. BUT DEFINITELY BUY THIS---and share it through performance, if possible! It's easy to put on, as each scene is short with different characters---no long parts for any one child. You just need to find a good singer with sweet spirit to play the character of Grace throughout. In my opinion, it's the GREATEST children's musical ever! Thanks, Karen Dean!
